Who is responsible

Hosting
The website is served by Cloudflare, Inc. from its global network. To deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address, the requested page, the time of the request and your browser's user agent. These logs are used only for security and operations and are kept briefly. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, we store your name, email address, the topic you picked and the message itself, together with the time it arrived, the country the request came from and your browser's user agent. We use this only to answer you.
- Messages are stored in Cloudflare's key-value storage for up to twelve months, then deleted.
- The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box before sending.
- You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us; we then delete the message.
Emails sent directly to contact@coffee-bytes.io are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.
Cookies and local storage
The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. If you pick a light or dark theme, that choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to contact@coffee-bytes.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Portugal this is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
